~Phonemad:My land line has been so full of static for ** of the last ** days that it is distracting during all calls, at times it's so bad it's impossible to understand what is being said by the other person. A repairman came out and the line was clear for a day and a half. Then, we had a heavy downpour and the static is back. I had no problems for years, until the heavy rains that hit Northern Illinois.*I'm sick of hearing the scripted response, "I do apologize for your problem" over and over, and being told they guarantee they'll provide repair service in a week and a half.
