~Joy:Why you should not buy Panasonic - The product I purchased is fairly nice. It works well. But I lost my software installation cd rom and also wanted to install software on netbook as my son is in military and was planning to take the SDR-H**P Palmcorder Camcorder overseas with him along with the netbook. Every other product I have connected to my laptop has automatically installed after the laptop detected the device and went to the manufacturer site to get the drivers & software. Panasonic apparently does not believe in providing this type of support to their customers. After spending hours on the Internet and trying phone numbers, the closest I go to a *******real' person was a menu option that I had to pay $*.** to even TALK to one of their support people because I was out of warranty. After more googling, I finally reached a real living breathing person who said I had to purchase the software CD for $**.** and too bad, so sad, it was not offered online or in any other format
