GetHuman-nllee2:I received a Note * in the mail about * week ago. This morning, after I unplugged my phone, the charger started smoldering. Luckily my daughter happens to be staying with me due to her house was one the tornados in Garland hit, and was able to catch it before it started a fire. It completely destroyed the charger and left burn marks on the baseboard and wall where it was resting by. The stress I am already under from our tornado experience and the resettling of my daughter and her children in my home is amplified when I think what the outcome would have been if she would not have been there this morning or if this would have happened during the night!!! I am contacting the BBB and FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection and filing a complaint with them about this issue!!! I KNOW this is not the first time Samsung has had issues with chargers and batteries catching fire, but I would have thought that these issues would have been fixed since all the publicity and attention the news was giving this problem!!!
