~patinagold:My TV service was constantly going out. "Guide" on the remote didn't work. I would press "guide" and I would get switched to a different channel entirely. No one seemed to know what to do unless I got advanced help. I'd ask for advanced help and they'd tell me that my problem "didn't warrant it" but maybe an hour or so later when they couldn't fix it they'd decide I needed advanced help after all. I got sick of the hassle and switched to DirecTV. I'm very happy with them. I've had few problems and those I do have are resolved promptly and with no fuss. I'd rather do without TV than have to deal with Dish Network. Dish is probably the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It was installed improperly from the start and they messed up my furnace (in January - very cold) and my heating and AC provider had to come out two times to fix it. I was never told about any "contract" or cancellation fee but they tried to charge me for the remainder of the "contract."
