GetHuman-thaonguy:My name is Nguyen Doan. I took a flight from Houston-Chicago-Narita-Vietnam on Dec. **,****. The flight took off at *:** as I remembered. However, due to technical problem and weather, we couldnt fly straight to Chicago as planned, the flight had to stop at Atlanta. Then *-*hr later, we took another flight to Chicago and of course we missed the flight from chicago to Narita-Japan. As I talked to one of the lady at the customer service about the situation, she told us that it wasnt their fault and she would not do anything for us, she would not give us hotel or any coupons for this situation. She could only look for another flight for us And we said okay, we just wanted to get another flight and go back to Vietnam on time, that was enough. After a few minutes searching on the system and making phone calls. She looked at me and said " why dont you call your agent or anywhere that you book the ticket and tell them to look for another flight for you, dont you see im trying to help? Do something, dong just sit there, it's time I have to go home" *I was in shock, i couldnt believe United airline hired a person like that to do customer service. I told her " oh my God if you can help then at least get somebody to help us, it wasnt our fault". She said " well somebody will help you but you have to do something too" *I was so mad, what kind of customer service was that!!!! It wasnt our fault, we paid more than * thousands for * person and that was what we got!???we had to wait hours and hours and we missed the flight and being treat like trash!??? *However, another lady helped us and she even gave us a room to stay and we got on another flight in the next morning. Thanks to her. *There was an announcement from the pilot about logging into unitedairline.com*appreciation and put on the flight * for something. I did but it kept saying invalid number so i wasnt sure what happened. Other people on the same flight with me could log in and get $*** back or some other amount of discount. I couldnt make any phone call when I was in Vietnam, the internet wasnt working well as well so I couldn't contact you guys until now. *The flight was on Sunday Dec. **,**** from Houston to Chicago but it stopped at Atlanta. *Please check and let me know if There was anything or information I could do to log into unitedairline.com*appreciation *Thank you*Nguyen
