I was researching a hotel for a business conference in San Diego, I thought the price too steep so I started looking for alternatives in the area. I was so happy and tried to use the link to make my reservation, but the link would not work. I then tried to use their help telephone line. The first person said that they could not change the price but they could charge me the full amount then refund my credit card the difference. I found this unusual but I had used Hotels.com so many times so I agreed and gave him all my information including my Credit card *.
