~Mary H.:If you have someone trying to help you, they must be in the same room as you. The company does not allow three-way calls. They said they would send the free copy of the credit report, but first they pitched us on paying for Equifax's credit monitoring service. If we accepted, we would have gotten the report right away, but since we didn't we have to wait *-** days to have it mailed. It seems to me that, if they have erroneous info on your report, they should want to get it removed as soon as possible. They could give consumers free access right away to refute it, but they choose to mail the report instead. It will be seven to ** business days before I even get the report and potentially a month or more before it will be corrected. Yet the consumer, not the credit bureau, bears the damage.
