~dadahl: We called several times. The quality of the agents varied widely in terms of whether it seemed like they were really trying to help or just trying to get rid of us. It's also worth noting that the website and the automated IVR system have less information than the agents so it's necessary to talk to an agent to get the correct, up to date information.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting American Airlines. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a American Airlines problem?
~dadahl: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~dadahl: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about American Airlines's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~dadahl: For that I would say two out of five.
