They are terrible, condescending and flat out lack any skills to deal with a variety of people. The moment you speak to them and you have an accent the condescending tone begins. Very prejudice minded people. No training at all. You ask them a question and they go in the kitchen with it. I typically do no judge a company by one bad experience.. but I have this experience everyime i call in and so have many people I know. so now i ask for a supervisor whenever i call even for a simple question and even if i am not upset. And they are not that great either. It does not seem fair that i do not have a choice of what electric company i want to use, because AEP is not who I would do business with if I had a choice. Very dodgy and horrible people.
