~mg:I sent my laptop to Dell to replace the LCD screen that was damaged. I told them to not touch any files on the hard drive. It came back fixed, but all of my files were gone. After being transferred to at least a dozen different people over three days, no one would acknowledge that Dell made a mistake and no one would even consider at least giving me a refund on the repair charge. Overall, the Dell service department was incompetent and useless. I would highly recommend no one sends their computer to Dell to be repaired.
