GetHuman-tubaile:We had ATT for Internet and DSL. A representative named Amanda Mashburn signed us with Comcast on the *th of December. We were told we could keep our old phone number, so we did. She said that she would place a work order in immediately, and we would get services by January *nd. *We heard nothing from Mrs Mashburn although I texted and called her at****-***-**** repeatedly before the *nd. *I heard nothing from her until Saturday, the *nd of January by text AFTER I had texted first. She writes, the technician should be out between **-** that day.*When he shows up at **:** am, I get a long diatribe about how he used to live here and I can't be serviced because of no plug, or whatever.**I asked him for his name and a number. He only told me his ID was ****, his name is Robert, and his company is CIST. *I live in Brunswick, Ga. Our zip code is *****.*Here's why I'm furious. The representative, Mrs. Mashburn should have made it clear to the offices of Xfinity NOT to port my number if the service could not be fulfilled.*Had she and the Supervisor Robert communicated BEFORE the install day of January *nd, ****, the whole deal could have been cancelled!*Because of these two representatives of Comcast Xfinity lack of professionalism, we no longer have ANY INTERNET OR PHONE SERVICES.*Our old company, ATT has given our number (***)***-****away. We can't establish new service with them in our area because they say their ports are full.**We need our services immediately! We pay our bills online, our daughter uses the Internet for online classes, and having * autistic children, and being home bound at the moment means we have lost our LIFELINE TO THE WORLD.*This is Not Our Faults.
