~greeneyeldy:This was years ago but it's why I won't buy anything made by Philips...ever. Bought a Philips TV, after a few months it stopped working, of course, just after the warranty ended. Calling customer service was at best frustrating. They basically tell you they can't help, and there's no one else you can talk to. Period. I would recommend no one buy Philips products. That's the only way these companies learn. The TV got fixed, was usable, took six weeks and had quirks that were annoying.
