~James:My Bluray disc player needs a firmware update. I called Panasonic several months ago and they said they would charge me $*.** to give me the update. After I agreed to that they said they would call me back and they never did. Two weeks ago I went online to try get the firmware. If you download it yourself, there is no charge. I tried to download it but it didn't work. I sent customer service a message and they said they would respond within ** hours. They never did. I did the same thing last week, with the same result. Today I tried calling CS. After waiting ** minutes, I heard the phone on the other end ring once and then it went dead. Panasonic is clearly too big a company to install the proper customer service that cares about its customers.
