~chps19:After waiting through ** connections to get a chat person, I asked "Mae M" a question, "she" took about *-* minutes to answer. I had turned away from the computer for maybe ** seconds and she disconnected the session. I reconnected with "Lucille F". Between each and every inane question that she asked there was a *-* minute pause. My question had to do with gift cards without a CID number. I have a return merchandise gift card along with an egift card, neither have CID numbers. After explaining the situation in detail, "Lucille F" asked if it had been scratched off and then put me on hold another *-* minutes. It was obvious I would never get an answer from this site and eventually left the chat line. Don't waste your time with this means of communicating with their "customer Service" representatives. If Macy believes this is customer service it is just one more indicator that this company is headed for self destruction, very soon I might guess.
