~Goatous:I own several (*) Lowrance GPS*Fishfinders*Communication electronics and always dread having to call for technical*customer support. It takes forever, to get a real person on the phone. They always apologize that it is their "busy season" (and it doesn't matter what season I call). I would think if it truly was a busy season, they would know it and staff more appropriately. Once you have someone, the advice you get is often wrong. I had one problem that I had to call back * times and got * different responses to the same problem. I did find one person who actually was helpful and could answer the questions correctly- the first time, luckily I got her email. After that, I would just email her with questions and she would quickly solve the problem. Unfortunately she left, now I need to go back to beating my head against the wall.
