~BooKU:My husband and I just bought a house and were trying to get service turned on at our home. There was an issue with an old bill (that I believe we already paid) in my husband's name from * years ago, before we were married. While trying to sort through the problem, the reps from KU were rude, and lied to get me to come to their office under false pretenses in order to get money I "owed" them. I found the transaction where I paid them and faxed it to them...to word on that, of course. In short, they are rude, unprofessional, and slimy. Unfortunately, I still have to have service with them as they are the only power company in the area.
