I did a stop payment on the check and sent them a notarized form from my bank for a payment reversal and still my money has not been returned. I have been on the phone with dozens of agents--some that can barely speak English (seems Fingerhut is outsourcing their customer service to India) and told so many conflicting things--now they claim they have no record of the form I sent them. The latest insult is that I was told me over a week ago that an account specialist would contact me within ** hours--nothing! *I am fed up with these crooks, I have written a demand payment letter to them and I am sending via certified mail to their corporate headquarters threatening them with small clams court.
