~rafletcher3rd:The rep was fantastic. She was patient, listened, and was able to help me through the frustrating red tape I had been dealing with with on previous calls to Experian. I hadn't been able to get my "pin" since I had never been given one. She explained that what I had filed was not a "credit freeze" but a "credit alert". The latter does not generate "pin" nos. (only the former). As we spoke it became clear what needed to be done and she helped me do it.
