~Ithacacook:I purchased a stainless steel can opener last Xmas. It has been replaced by the seller * times Excellent customer service from Chef's catalog. However the darn thing still doesn't work . It will open about * in * cans. If it does it open a can it will often drop it when it completes its cut. Cuisinart wants me to go back to Chef's because they (Cuisinart) will make me pay shipping to get my can opener repaired. I think it's a manufacturing defect and Chef's has been more than fair!! I used to think the world of Cuisinart products...now not so much.
