~juliatoo：My account was paid in full and closed several years ago. It suddenly showed up "UNPAID" "IN COLLECTIONS" and "OPEN" on my credit reports. I contacted immediately Credit ONE and tried to explain. The woman I spoke with was rude, unhelpful, and said basically I was lying and to pay up!!! Fortunately, I have bank records and the copy of a cashiers cheque. I'm making a complaint to the CA Office of Consumer Protection.
