~FrustratedCalifornian:I have a hold on my DL for a non-paid fine in CA & driving in WA state without a DL. I satisfied the CA fine recently & the WA state fine * year ago. Went to DMV to get my license back but WA was still showing a hold. Contacted WA dept of licensing they claim they never issued a hold. County of Blaine where citation originated emailed an official Certificate of Adjudication to local DMV. They wouldn't accept it-must be an original delivered thru snail mail. Here we live in the center of where the PC & internet born. Where just about everyone communicates through email or some form of electronic transmission. We even submit our income tax forms and payment electronically but this ridicules Calif DMV can't accept something electronically from another US state department? Oh, but you can pay your registration fees electronically. Funny, how when there is money involved suddenly they will take it anyway they can. This whole government system is out of control. They have forgotten they are
