They had to transfer me to their "holiday department" to cancel a car reservation I had made with Avios points. Also there I was on hold for less than two minutes and the cancellation was done immediately. The agent even waived the fee that they normally charge for a phone cancellation. The reinstated Avios points were to appear in my account "within two to three minutes" the agent said. The points were there indeed within a minute or two. I am very pleased!
