~BZG:Problem: I received someone else's application for a card in my envelope. My call was to *) Be sure Amex was aware of the mistake & *) no one applies for Amex credit card in my name. I finally reached "applications" & "new accounts" to resolve. So far no one has applied for credit in my name. I don't know that it's resolved but Amex is aware. Nancy was very helpful. She listened very carefully to my complaint*problem and transferred me to Sini who ran a check under my name. There are no applications under my name(so far). I was reluctant to give my SSN. I did't. Should anything show up under my name I will not be responsible.*Sini was hard to understand. I'm satisfied that Amex is aware but there is no guarantee that some unscrupulous person would take advantage of the situation.
