~JS:I was planning to buy an American Airlines ticket (through aa.com) which involved one leg on a partner carrier and wanted to know what the baggage allowance would be. Seems simple enough but they told me I had to call the partner carrier to find out. Called the partner carrier and they said that if I buy the ticket from AA, only AA could tell me. Called AA back, they said the only way they can tell me is if I buy the ticket, and give them the confirmation code. When I complained that it was unreasonable to have to buy a ticket to know this info the lady hung up on me. So unprofessional.
