~donnaf:USAA's mortgage division is a separate from the rest of company. I've had many home loans and refinanced w* them for a small home loan. It was a nightmare even tho' they had access to all my other info within the company. I had to do tasks repetitively, numerous delays, switched agents *x in process-so unexpected based on other service from them. USAA communicated incorrect info to title co. When I closed, they had to redo it & fax **** pages - it took * hours to complete. I can't believe they would risk their reputation by having this terrible mortgage service. Car loan through their bank was fine.
