~BeBe:I called UPS "customer service" regarding an email I received from them. It took several minutes to reach the first person who immediately placed me on hold to "double check" my question. The only problem is that he had not asked why I had called. When he came back and tried to place me on hold again before finding out why I was calling, I stopped him and asked him how he could check on anything without knowing why I was calling. After informing him of the situation, he then placed me on hold again, returned to call with no information and told me what I already knew. I then asked for a supervisor. I was on hold ** minutes before getting another of the same. When I advised the "supervisor" of the long hold time, his answer was that they were taking escalated calls. Okay. Well, after getting nowhere, I finally just gave up and said "okay". Then the rep just hung up without a word. So, ** minutes of wasted time with no answer to my question.
