I tried resetting the device, but it didn't help. I finally called Amazon and talked with a representative for about ** minutes, going through several rounds of resetting the device and going back to the factory settings. The device still wouldn't recognize our wifi connection. At that point the representative told me that I would have to purchase a new Kindle. I don't think that ** months is an acceptable amount of time for a $*** device to last. I am very disappointed with Amazon.
