~appletini25:HORRIBLE! Invasive processes. I tried to transfer my service and I had to fax in my drivers license and social security card? I have never been late and paid my bills on time. Then a VERY RUDE person calls me back saying another person with my listed address owes them money and they MERGED our accounts and said until they get paid by this other person that has NOTHING to do with me they aren't going to turn my service on at the new address. I wish KC had another choice than KCPL they have a monopoly on this city and use it to their advantage. What they do should be illegal. After I explained the situation to the first person I was hung on (and I was professional not yelling etc.) The second time their "computers" weren't working to send me an itemized statement and an explain of some terms I magically agreed to and they were unable to get my address. These people are insane.
