~dizzydae:I purchased a greendot card from rite aid which was and still is running a promotion for a free card w* **.** minimum on the card. I checked my balance and found out they still charged me. After ** minutes of back and forth with greendot customer service and rite aid. I got * different stories. Greendot said it was a promotion for employees, and I'm not a VIP member. Rite Aid says that there are no requirements but the **.** load minimum. The package said nothing about being a VIP member or employee promotion. So, I'm guessing green dot are liars and they are misleading people to buy these cards. I am going to call management (GREENDOT)and I am going to get these fees waived because they are misleading people with this promotion. Do not use greendot, they are dishonest and all the fees are not worth it.
