GetHuman-178641:I do not have any real complaint with the individual that received my claim even though my claim was denied?? My problem is with the shipping department that clearly had opened the damaged package to inspect for damage (staples removed and retaped) and still delivered the package anyway. I was not home when it was delivered and I would not have accepted the package. Why my claim was denied is still a mystery to me because it was clearly damaged in shipping. Unfortunitely FedEx is like most big companies anymore, the bosses try do anything to avoid paying claims and taking care of customer to improve their bottom line profits. Fortunitely for me there is another shipping company in town with offices and I can take any damage package to them and speak to a live person. So I'll order only from companies that use UPS.
