~anna:I was irritated because is was unable to contact equifax on a phone number provided on a credit application I processed within last * days as the letter described key factors for credit sore i found to be inaccurate. the letter said by law I could request a free credit report within ** days of the letter but the number provided on the letter was automated only gave me an option to obtain a report with a fee. after several attempts to speak with someone or to try an order a credit report came to no avail. i looked up equifax number on the internet. the person i spoke with was patient and very helpful assured me that he would send me me a copy of the report and provided me with confirmation number **********.
