All went well.**Next day tried to update Keynote and was told that I could not do this with that Apple ID and password.**Called and talked to THREE apple technical people for a full ** minutes, who told me that they could not help me because I had (and forgotten) created an Apple ID and Password separately for the desktop which I and the technical people could not determine the password.**I am now locked out for upgrading my new **.** OS in the future. There must be a method to correct this.
